LM provide retail, restaurant and leisure leasing advice on Westquay in Southampton. Our instruction covers all aspects of driving a proactive asset management strategy. By attracting new and exciting brands, and delivering sustained income growth we are ensuring Westquay’s long-term asset performance, reinforcing its position as the premier centre location in the South Coast Region.

Our approach and thinking

When instructed on the asset, the scheme was emerging from the post-COVID world and in need of a “glow up” for a better term. In the space of 3 years, we have bought in iconic brands such as Space NK, Mango, Sweaty Betty, Charles Tyrwhitt and Kiko, along with delivering the first Garmin store in the UK.  This was a real leasing highlight and testament to the unique proposition that Westquay has to offer as a retail destination. Having also been recently instructed on the restaurants and leisure component, we are bringing in new brands to enhance the offer and elevate the overall consumer experience.

Joint results

Our team act on some of the best shopping destinations across the UK.  We use this exposure to occupiers to ensure Westquay is at the forefront of location selection for established and emerging, operators considering the South Coast Region. We hope to announce more ‘regional firsts’ very shortly. Through a structured approach to leasing, we have incrementally grown income by establishing a clear tone on all levels of Westquay.
