Their need

LM are bringing our retail and leisure expertise and insight to the placemaking and curation of a new neighbourhood destination in Canning Town. The neighbourhood is part of a wider £3.7 billion regeneration programme, providing over 1,100 new homes. We are tasked with securing complementary uses and services for what is fast becoming one of London’s most attractive residential hotspots. A lifestyle destination supported by its connectivity, green spaces, and a rapidly evolving cultural scene.

Our approach and thinking

Our strategy is centred on fostering a vertical community that attracts a diverse residents, from commuting professional workers to international students. Our focus is on adding vibrancy and character whilst serving the communities’ practical, day-to-day needs. We are delivering this strategy through an innovative, balanced mix of independent operators, stylish cafés, dedicated food stores, and daily service uses.
